Shipping Policies

Shipping Destinations and MethodsAll orders are shipped from St. Louis, Missouri.  We ship to the entire United States and most international destinations.  We are unable to ship some products to some destinations, please see the individual product listing for any shipping restrictions.  

We ship via the United States Postal Service (USPS) and United Parcel Service (UPS) at our discretion.  After we ship your order, you will receive shipping confirmation with tracking information provided by the shipping carrier, if available.

We process orders and ship on business days (Monday through Friday).  We do not ship on the following days:

  • Saturday and Sunday
  • All U.S. Federal Holidays
  • The Friday following Thanksgiving Day  
  • Christmas Eve, December 24th
  • New Year’s Eve, December 31
Local Pickup:  Sorry, we are unable to offer locations where your order can be picked up in person.

Domestic United States Shipping Estimates:  Orders placed on Monday through Friday before our order deadline will normally be processed and given to the shipping carrier the same business day.  Order deadlines are dependent on the payment method used as shown in the following table.   Orders shipping to an international destination take a little longer to process; see the appropriate paragraphs below for information regarding international orders.

After order processing is complete, we estimate delivery should occur within the timeframes contained in the table below this paragraph. These estimates are based on the shipping carriers’ published estimates and are not a guarantee of delivery by a specific date.  The day the order is processed and shipped from our warehouse does not count as a shipping transit business day in the following table.

3Shipping carriers will normally deliver on business days, Monday through Friday.    USPS may deliver packages sent “Standard” or “Expedited” on Saturday, however Saturday is not considered a business day in the Delivery Estimate.  USPS Second Day and Next Day are not delivered on Saturdays.

 

International Shipping Estimates:  Orders shipping to a location outside the United States may take 1-2 business days to process.  The order will ship the next business day after processing is complete.  International customers are solely responsible for paying any applicable taxes, fees or duties. These fees are not included in your order and may be assessed separately by the shipping carrier at the time of delivery.  Please check with your shipping carrier if you have any questions regarding taxes, fees or duties.

Designed 2B Sweet is not a commercial exporter; we are unable to ship business to business internationally.  We only ship products for personal use to international destinations.  Designed 2B Sweet is not responsible for resolving customs issues which result from the customer placing a business to business order.

IMPORTANT:  PLEASE READ BEFORE PLACING YOUR ORDER

Delivery Confirmation:

Designed 2B Sweet purchases delivery confirmation from the shipping carrier on most orders. Designed 2B Sweet purchases signature confirmation on orders over $200.00. Orders under $200.00 are sent with delivery confirmation only.

An order is considered to be delivered when:

  • The package is shown as delivered in the tracking system of the shipping carrier; regardless of whether the package is signed for or not, and
  • The shipping address matches the address provided to us by the customer during the order placement process.

Liability for Delivered Packages:  Designed 2B Sweet assumes no responsibility or liability for the package after delivery is reported by the shipping carrier in their tracking system.   This includes, but is not limited to, theft of the item from the delivery location or damage caused by external forces such as rain, heat, cold, floods or fire. If the package shows as delivered in the shipping carrier’s tracking system and you have not received the package; we suggest calling your shipping carrier and filing a police report with your local police department if appropriate.

Liability for Undelivered Packages:  Designed 2B Sweet assumes no liability for packages which are not delivered to the customer as a result of errors made by customer during the ordering process.  Please double check your address before placing your order.  Designed 2B Sweet assumes no liability for errors made by the shipping carrier during transit and delivery of an order. This includes, but is not limited to, accidental delivery to the wrong address, shipping delays, rerouting, incorrect delivery confirmations, mishandling and unexplained loss/disappearance of the packages or items contained inside the packages. No refunds or exchanges will be issued unless Designed 2B Sweet is directly at fault.
