Do you love coffee? Coffee is more than what you find at the coffee aisle of your supermarket. For some, coffee is just a beverage to get their day started, but for others coffee is a super taste sensation. Why not host a gourmet coffee party to celebrate Januaryâs Coffee Gourmet International Month?
Choose a day for the gourmet coffee party and prepare your guest list. Select invitations in keeping with the coffee theme such as one with a coffee cup that says Come Sip with Me. If you take the time you can find numerous cute and appropriate invitations with a coffee and cup theme.
Gourmet coffees come from all around the world. Gourmet coffee from Brazil might include Sweet Okole Kona coffee or Kona Cloud grown on a family operated and owned coffee plantation. Coffee from Costa Rica is grown in the rich volcanic soil of the mountainous areas. These conditions are ideal for cultivating coffee that can be considered gourmet.
For some really fine gourmet coffee, look for Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee. Coffee aficionados have been admiring this fine coffee blend for over one hundred years. Ethiopia has a long history when it comes to coffee. It is thought that the Arabica coffee plant originated in here. There are very few other coffee beans other than the Arabica that are the base of most gourmet coffees. Kenya has coffee plantations like the French have vineyards. Coffee drinkers from around the globe consider Kenyan coffee to be some of the richest and best tasting coffee in the world.
You can find gourmet coffee in a variety of flavors such as chocolate, vanilla, Irish Cream, pumpkin spice and Amaretto. You might also want to try nut cream, caramel or hazelnut. For your gourmet coffee party you might provide the coffee, but if you prefer you can ask your guests to bring along one of their favorite gourmet coffees and perhaps even their own coffee brewer.
